Model 2AF-54 drain holes are available on top and bottom of filter to let grease escape. (This concept makes the filter recersible).

Design : Betterair Filters are aerodynamically designed to provide a self-balancing air flow throughout the entire length of a hood. Actual field tests have repeatedly shown a variation of less than +10% air flow from end to end. Betterair's unique design assures good capture through the entire hood length, with 25 to 50% less volume of exhaust air.

Operation : Grease-laden air is drawn into the filter by exhaust fans. As the air passes through the system the aerodynamically designed twin baffle structure forces the air into a series of compressions, expansions and pressure changes. The grease, heavier than air, separates and settles safety and quickly in the baffles where smooth surfaces assure rapid, drip less run-off into collection through the filter and up through the exhaust duct.
