This air filter medium is a specially developed disposable type for use as an extremely fine filter, being over 96% efficient on dust particles down to 5 microns. Color is white: nominal thickness 22mm{7/8"). It is generally installed in 4AF-C3 Series or EM (B) or 2EM Series sock filters.

Application possibilities:

As a disposable i.e. throw away type air filter where a very high degree of dust extraction efficiency is required, almost semi-absolute. For incoming air supplied to laboratories, chemical processing plants, in the ceilings of paint spray booths, for pre-filtering radio active aerosols in atomic reactors (installed in front of very expensice special filters to increase lfe of same) for incoming air supplied to humid-cribs, in front of absolute filters etc.

It is recommended that a more porous type of air filter, e.g. BETTERAIR Type B15/500 be installed as a primary filter in front of type BA/360 to increase the length of life of the latter.
