The problem of odour removal is becoming more acute across a broad spectrum of industrial, institutional and commercial operations. Activated carbon will remove most odours from the air by adsorption. On pound of this extremely porous carbon contains over app 464, 000m of surface to which gas filter will absorb up to half-pound of gas.

EASY TO HANDLE, SERVICE AND INSTALL

In factory fabricated Betterair Carbon Filters, activated carbon is contained in special 11 lb. (5kg) aluminium trays, each 605mm X 590mm X 21mm thick (1/2 sizes are 289mm deep). The nos of trays in a filter for full size, 12 carbon panels; half size units hold 6 carbon panels. Betterair Carbon filters are available in face velocities of 2.54m/s (500 f.p.m.) to meet most requirement in either central systems or unitary equipment.

ECONOMICAL AND EFFICIENT

Convenient to service, Betterair Carbon Filter is also economical to install because no in-line dust access space is required, either up-stream or downstream. The unit is compact and complete, including 4EM Holder to hold 4"throw-away or washable prefilters for removal of dust. However, recommended prefilters are the high-efficiency 4AB/85-2C, 4AF-C1 and EM245-149/1 Deep Bed Filter.
